Welcome to the High Meadow Ranch swim team!

OUR TEAM

High Meadow Ranch Swim Team is a Northwest Aquatics League (NWAL) summer swim team. Our team is managed by our volunteer Board, with assistance from all of our parents. Our home pool, where we have meets and practice, is located at High Meadow Ranch Recreation Center-811 High Meadow Ranch Drive, Magnolia 77355.

OUR SEASON

Our season begins with practice in April and is complete by the end of June. We participate in six swim meets on Saturdays, with 2-3 of our meets being at home. Swim meets start at 8:00am and conclude around noon. Our swimmers also have a chance to qualify throughout our season for two invitational meets at the end of the season.

AGE GROUPS

Competition age groups are as follows: 6 & under; 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-18. Ages 10 & under swim 25 yard events and ages 11+ swim 50 yard events. Children compete in the group determined by their age as of May 1. We have a great staff of coaches who not only teach the art and sport of swimming, but instill a love of the sport, a spirit for competition, and teamwork. Our swimmers are taught four swim strokes (freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke), starts, turns, breathing techniques, and training exercises.

PRACTICE

We will begin practice April 21st with early evening practice times, later transitioning practice times to mornings after school dismisses for summer. Our team practices Tuesday-Friday for 30 minutes to an hour in length (depending on age group).

REGISTRATION 2026

Online registration opens on February 16. Please take time to familiarize yourself with our website. Existing swim families will have the same username and password as they did last year.

Prices for Registration:

$185.00 1st swimmer ages 14 and under, each additional swimmer 14 and under $165.00

$50 per swimmer 15 years and up

Registration includes a free team t-shirt and swim cap.

D&J sports will be at our pool (date TBD), selling team suits and other gear. All swimmers need to purchase a team suit. The suit is also available at D&J's retail location off 249 and Spring Cypress.

VOLUNTEERS

As mentioned earlier, we use parent volunteers. Our volunteer requirements have a point value system. We collect a check (amount TBA) at registration as a volunteer deposit. Swim families are required to obtain six points in order to have their volunteer deposit returned at the end of the season. A volunteer will receive points for shifts worked or jobs completed.   More information about volunteering will be posted closer to the beginning of the season.
